"Vox Populi is a curation of photographs which suggest the stories of New York City(zens), taken over the course of a decade (2012-2022). The anonymous, public statements written on street objects in the boroughs of Manhattan, The Bronx and Brooklyn run the gamut from cheeky, philosophical to unabashedly ignorant and crass, revealing the myriad states of individual mental and emotional awareness. Ingested holistically, they inform the condition of society itself. These messages grant us, the quotidian passersby, a prolonged glimpse into the parts of ourselves we bury in the momentum of daily life." - Lord Bison
