CALL FOR ENTRY: PLANET EARTH
Online Photography Exhibition
Theme: PLANET EARTH — Reflections on the Planet We Call Home
Deadline: September 30, 2025
From the vast deserts and dense rainforests to bustling city streets and remote mountain villages, Planet Earth invites photographers to explore the extraordinary diversity of life and land on our planet. This exhibition calls for work that reveals the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of the world we inhabit—both its natural wonders and human narratives.
We seek images that evoke awe and admiration, that document fragile ecosystems or resilient communities, that capture quiet moments of coexistence or urgent stories of change. Whether through sweeping landscapes, intimate portraits, or abstract interpretations, this is an opportunity to reflect on what it means to live on Earth in a time of environmental and cultural transformation.
Photographers are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly—submissions may include:
ā
-
Natural landscapes in all their majesty or fragility
-
Wildlife in its habitat or under threat
-
Environmental impacts and human responses
-
Indigenous cultures and traditional lifeways
-
Urban life and the shaping of human environments
-
Climate change, conservation, and sustainability stories
-
Abstract, symbolic, or conceptual representations of Earth
As we face unprecedented ecological and social challenges, Planet Earth is a space to honor the interconnectedness of all life and the urgency of preservation. This exhibition invites viewers to look closer, feel deeper, and consider their place in the greater web of life.
