"As a juror for No Titles, I had the privilege of reviewing a stunning and diverse collection of images that transcended conventional boundaries. No Titles challenges both artists and viewers to engage with each piece without predefined narratives, creating a space for unfiltered exploration and personal interpretation.

"The photographers embraced the freedom that the absence of titles provides, allowing each image to stand on its own, evoking a range of emotions and associations unique to every viewer. From arresting portraits to expansive landscapes, the works displayed an impressive command of technique and creativity, inviting us to engage deeply with their subtleties. The exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of photography’s ability to speak in a visual language that is at once universal and intimate, capturing moments that resonate in distinct ways with each individual.

If I am not extremely tired of living,I can be surprised by things I see around me. Nature is very important and a big part of this surprise. I look at nature from a utilitarian point of view, but once you start looking deeper and start learning some things, it just blows your mind! Everything has some hidden purpose that you might not be thinking about.

A photograph prolongs the life of an altered variant of the thing that it wishes to preserve. My images do not promote preservation for the sake of preservation, but they do opt for a kind of stillness; a stillness that relies and weighs on the gelatinous legs that their referents have chronically stood. This tension and incongruity becomes my point of departure. And then language is applied to move that gelatin, draw on contradiction, and participate in a kind of alteration of the material world. I make photographs of the material world and our geographic surroundings, paying close attention to tangible influences that have formed the fabric of place and the construction of geographic and cultural identities

Photography allows me to appreciate and record the moment in a way such that I am intensely in the present. In that time I can see in a multidimensional way. That is how this photograph has stayed with me in so many ways. I like how I don't have to talk about location with these images. The elements speak for themselves.

This photographic work originates on a secluded beach where high tides bring remnants of life to the shore. Wind and water rearrange the delicate scatterings and create evanescent textures on the sand. My camera records my discoveries, and I combine elements creating composite prints.

The master student (Master of Art) at the Düsseldorf Art Academy specialises in staged still life photography. He stages everyday objects such as tin cans, egg cartons, glass bottles, vegetables, crockery or pots in absurd, funny or even frightening situations.

My work focuses on black and white street photography, I use high-contrast light and shadow to emphasize the raw emotion and social dynamics of the city. Each photograph reflects my approach to storytelling—finding beauty in the unnoticed and irony in everyday scenes. Through candid shots, I aim to create a narrative that resonates with viewers and highlights the complexity of human experience.

John Diephouse

I am a self-taught photographer and collage artist and am attracted to a variety of subject matter. My interests range from natural landscapes, botanicals and wildlife to images that provide either abstract expression or social commentary. I share images that evoke a story of some kind that may be simply documentary, reflect a sense of time and place, or resonate on a more abstract level of color, shape or form. Most often I am drawn back to images created while wandering through the back roads of the upper Midwest. These images of architecture, commerce and social life often reflect a mixture of nostalgia and a changing set of forces that shape life in the heartlands.Others provoke an indefinable question that does not readily yield answers without further study and reflection.

My creative process is deeply intuitive, driven by curiosity and a desire to explore how light interacts with landscapes, objects, and people to reveal hidden truths. Photography, for me, is not merely a means of documenting the visible world but a way to uncover layers of meaning that lie beneath the surface. Engaging with themes of time, memory, and the tension between reality and perception, my work invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys, evoking both the seen and the unseen in the human experience.

I photograph whenever something interests me and I feel emotions, I take my phone and we capture the moment. They also photograph nature. Opportunistically combining his technical acumen, creative mindset, and explorer drive, his journey is not just about producing a finished artwork… Jonathan enjoys discovering and traveling to new places and experimenting in the field--or capturing an unexpected inspiring view along everyday routes. Always endeavoring to evolve his techniques from lens to print, he is venturing into drone photography.

I take photographs of just about anything and everything. I enjoy taking images of doorways, windows, architectural details, flowers, bicycles, people, and fragments of daily life. Photography is a way of capturing a moment in time and preserving it for me and others to enjoy. The fact that I can capture a moment and spark a memory is one of the many rewarding aspects of photography.

Karl Ford

My love of photography began over fifty years ago using chemicals in darkrooms with safe lights and enlargers. I made a career with it, mostly in the form of industrial and educational work. My main obsession, however, was anything that made an interesting image. Now, of course, it's all digital. But the years I spent practicing it as an artform has paid off with the recognition I enjoy through sales and exhibitions.
