The Exhibition
Some photographs feel like thresholds.
They hold us at the boundary between two spaces, two moments, or two states of being.
PORTAL invites images that suggest passage, transformation, or the sense that something is about to change.
A portal may be visible — a doorway, passage, or opening — or it may exist only in the tension within the image itself.
We are interested in photographs that carry the feeling of standing at the edge of something unknown.
This exhibition will be tightly edited. A maximum of 60 works will be selected.
Awards
First Place — $500 + Solo Online Exhibition
Second Place — $300
Third Place — $200
Additional Juror Awards at discretion
Submission Fee
$25 — up to 8 images
Eligibility
Open to photographers worldwide over 18.
All photographic styles and processes are eligible.

Submissions will be reviewed through a structured selection process to ensure impartial evaluation.
The exhibition will be curated for conceptual clarity, formal strength, and cohesion.
