Decagon Gallery Presents Planet Earth: Reflections on the Planet We Call Home
Brooklyn, NY — October 2025 — Decagon Gallery is proud to announce the launch of its latest online photography exhibition, Planet Earth: Reflections on the Planet We Call Home. This exhibition brings together a diverse and deeply expressive body of work from photographers around the world, encouraging audiences to see Earth anew—its splendor, its fragility, and the stories that thread humanity and nature together.
A Global Tapestry of Earth’s Stories
Planet Earth presents imagery spanning dramatic landscapes, intimate natural details, environmental challenges, and human life in relation to our planet. Submissions that document delicate ecosystems, urban environments, climate impacts, indigenous ways of life, or even symbolic and abstract visions of Earth were invited. The result is a multifaceted visual dialogue: one that honors the planet’s beauty while not shying away from the urgency of change.
Juror Pinu Rahman, an internationally recognized lifestyle and travel photographer, selected the works for their visual strength, emotional resonance, and thematic relevance. In his juror’s note, he shared:
“I witnessed stories of our planet’s beauty, its fragility, and the people whose lives are intertwined with nature’s rhythm.”
